After the daytime hall concert, I received a phone call from a collaborator in the mouthpiece production.
He told me that the second prototype Type II mouthpiece was ready.
I immediately went to try it out.
It seemed that he had made exactly the same one, but the new one sounded definitely better.
The point is that there are still many manual processes after machining, so there are individual differences.
They are going to make various adjustments to reduce the number of manual processes in the future.
The finished product will be ready around the end of the year or the beginning of the new year.
Please wait a little longer for commercialization.

昼間のホールコンサートを終えると、マウスピース製作の協力者から電話が。
試作品TypeⅡの2本目ができたとのこと。
すぐさま試奏に伺う。
全く同じものを作ったようでしたが、音は新しいほうが断然良い。
要は、機械で削り出してからの手作業の工程がまだ多いので個体差があるとのこと。
今後はその手作業の工程を少なくするべく、様々な調整をしていくようです。
それが出来上がるのが年末から年始あたり。
製品化はもうちょっとお待ちくださいね。
僕は待つことには慣れました😅
