きょうは松下洋さんとマウスピース研究。
彼の楽器やマウスピースにかける研究熱はほんと凄いものでとても参考になりました。
クラシックのサックスのことは僕は何もわからないのでとても刺激になります。
途中、マウスピースの形状で気になっていた事が彼と一致したのでノコギリ使ったり(笑)
おかげでひとつ先に進みました！

His passion for researching musical instruments and mouthpieces is truly amazing and very helpful.
I don’t know anything about classical sax, so it’s very stimulating.
On the way, I was interested in the shape of the mouthpiece, so I used a saw (laughs).

この日はシャンクの形状について話し合った。
最終的に松下さんはAL3のシャンクをノコギリで切断するという暴挙に出た(笑)
反応は良くなったものの何か足りないということでキーホルダーの金属リングを巻いた。
そしたらプラスの効果が！
あとで考えたらこの日は大きな転換点となった。
We discussed the shank shape that day.
Eventually Mr Matsushita went on a rampage. He cut the shank of the AL3 with a saw (lol).
The response was better, but something was missing, so we wrapped a metal ring around the key ring.
That had a positive effect!
Looking back, that day was a big turning point.
