Today I played duo with guitarist Ryosuke Nouchi.
I can easily get the sound I want, whether it be loud, quiet, or subtones.
This feeling is very important, isn’t it?
It was fun.
If I wanted to produce this tone with other mouthpieces, 60-70% of the effort I spend on playing would be used for tone adjustment.
But with this mouthpiece, it would be only 20 to 30 percent. In other words, you can afford to concentrate on other things while playing. The final prototype was tested on the following instruments so far.
・SBA (with a plastic resonator)
・82Z (first generation, modified with a metal resonator)
・Mark6
・Conn (model unconfirmed)
・82ZWOF (my plastic resonator version)
All are good.
I am also guessing that a metal resonator is the best way to have both sharpness and mildness that stings the spinal cord like when you drink a dry martini.
After all, this final prototype is the best 🤓.

大きい音も小さい音もサブトーンも容易に欲しい音が出る。
この感覚が大事なんだよな〜。
楽しかった〜。
他のマウスピースでこの音色を出したいと思ったら、演奏に使う労力のうち6〜7割は音色調整に使われる。でもこのマウスピースでならそれは2〜3割で済むのではなかろうか。
つまり演奏中、他のことに集中する余裕ができるのだ。
あと、この最終試作品は、これまでに次の楽器で試奏した。
・SBA (プラスティックレゾネーターに変更されてるもの)
・82Z(初代・メタルレゾネーター仕様に変更してあるやつ)
・Mark6
・Conn(型は未確認)
・82ZWOF(僕のプラスティックレゾネーター仕様)
どれも良好。
あとは、ドライマティーニを飲んだ時のような脊髄に刺さる鋭さとマイルドさを共存させるには、メタルレゾネーターが良いのではないかと推測中。
やはりこの最終試作品は最高だ🤓
